Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Taylor is an American actor and producer who is best famous for the roles she was as the character of Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist and the television show The Mentalist. She earned a B.A. in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting from Tisch School at New York University. Aunjanue has a reputation as an American actress, producer and director who has worked in both film and television. She began her acting career in theater and later appeared in several television series and independent and mainstream films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. In the following year, she made an appearance in BET's epic television series The Book of Negroes. She started her career acting in 1995 when she played Ariel in The Tempest. The actress has appeared on Broadway with roles in Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. Her film career is highlighted by her performances on Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express, and The Help. The role she played as a character in ABC's drama police series High Incident earned her praises.
