Lofaso's food is consistently authentic, inviting and undeniably satisfying. Lofaso was an apprentice to culinary masters, absorbing their techniques and taking chances. She quickly rose through the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago before moving further to collaborate with famous chefs in a variety of Los Angeles kitchens. Lofaso launched Black Market Liquor Bar with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi in Studio City, California. In Black Market and the business partnerships she formed Lofaso found a place to call home. Lofaso could find the space to create the work she desired through this collaboration. Black Market is not constrained by one definitive direction and that is the intention.
