Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini, a businessman. She has Italian origins (her paternal grandpa), Irish, German, English and Scottish (her mother). Linda is the youngest of California's children is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area. When she was in her tenth grade, she began to be interested in acting when performing in a play at school. Her school involvement continued with plays and theater for the community. Linda graduated from Saint Francis High School Mountain View, California. Following graduation, she was required choose in between New York, where she was able to pursue theatre, as well as Los Angeles, where film and television were her options. Linda chose LA. Linda played her first major role as a character Bone Chillers, a 1996 television show. Freaks and Geeks, 1999 was her breakthrough performance. The acclaimed show played the role of decathlete Lindsay Weir. The show won an Emmy Award under the category of Outstanding Casting Comedy Series.
Lily James (born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson on 5 April 1989) is an English actress. Her first acting experience began by appearing on Just William in 2010, an British TV series. Her breakout moment came in the year 2015, when she portrayed the lead role in Cinderella which was a film about fantasy. Her previous roles included the role of Lady Rose MacClare as part of the period show Downton Abbey. James was later cast as Countess Natasha Rostova for the television adaptation War & Peace (2016). James also appeared as Baby Driver (2017) and in the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (18) as well as The Dig (2021), and in musicals Mamma Mia! We Go Again (2018) and Yesterday 2019 We Go again (2018) and Yesterday and Yesterday in 2019. Her character was nominated to win an Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award in 2022 to play Pamela Anderson, the star of Pam & Tommy.
