Kristen Anne Bell is an American singer and actress born in the year 1980. She is a Michigan native who was born and raised by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell (a TV news director). Kristen was born in Michigan's Huntington Woods, to a Polish mother and a father who has a mix of German, English Irish, Scottish, and Irish. Kristen discovered a passion to perform on an early age on stage. In 1992, she went to her very first audition. The audition was for the role in Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell, who was 13 when her mom signed to become an agent was also auditioned for advertisements for newspapers and television. She is now also taking classes in acting for herself. Bell was credited with a minor role as a character in Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell participated in the Drama and Music Club at Shrine Catholic High School. She won the starring role of Dorothy at her school's production of The Wizard of Oz. Bell went to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts for a musical theater course upon the completion of her studies. Bell quit her studies in 2001 and began playing Becky the character of Tom Sawyer. That same year, she was in Pootie Tang However, the scene where she appeared was cut. In the end, only her credit sequence exists. Bell was seen together with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
